we just returned from our whirlwind trip to austin, texas! it was HOT, humid, sticky, hilarious, beautiful, exhausting, entertaining and a whole lotta FUN! i fell head over heels for austin and will be back there very, very soon… i just can’t get enough. it is a rare thing (at least here in the southern california suburbs) to be able to shoot at an old candy shop, dance to honky tonk on the street, visit a waterfall, hang out at a barber shop, browse antique stores, dress up in very vintage prom dresses, laugh with strangers, order cupcakes and other goodies out of airstream trailers, get a slice of ahhhmazing pizza for 75 cents, spread your wings in the middle of painted metal butterfly and then just be able to lay down in the middle of wildflowers, look up and find pictures in big fluffy clouds. just like heaven to me.
i have a LOT of images to share (and a lot of very anxious families) so here we go!!! stay tuned for part 2 in the next few days.
first up, the bendy family…
the waggoneer family…
the ballard family…
lauren miller & her three best friends since childhood (so fun!)…
and… the morris family!
