i photographed these two the day before they tied the knot. she is a country girl at heart living in london. she met him there. he’s from wales… passionate and desperately in love with her from day one. emily (the bride) grew up going to her parents’ cabin in the heart of the redwoods in summerhome park (in sonoma county) every summer since she was little… swinging on the swings, playing in the river, running up and down those rustic wooden stairs and laying in the dirt looking far up above those tall redwoods at the stars. and every summer she dreamed of her true love. and then one summer just a few years ago she brought him there. morgan (the groom) told a story at the wedding of his first summer there at the cabin… her dad took him out under the cabin to “fix some things” but really he was making sure he was good enough for his little girl. turns out, he was just perfect.
