this wedding was pure old hollywood bliss. mike and lisa were married at the los angeles river center & gardens on the most lovely october day. (i am doing my best to play catch up and blogging a lot of lovely things that we shot just before and after our little clementine was born… my hands have been so full but i am sneaking in a little more blogging time now that she is starting to entertain herself a bit more and thanks to my wonderful new assistant, ali!) so… this was the first wedding i photographed post-baby and it was full of the most wonderful planning, details and deliciousness. the sweet ladies over at sterling social events did the planning (love them and highly recommend them!) and along with lisa’s background in the fashion world, the whole event was styled to perfection but still felt happy, relaxed and blissful. the trees were flowering, mike & lisa could not keep their eyes off one another, the reception glowed with warmth and metallics, the food was all mike & lisa’s favorite comfort foods and the guests lounged by the outdoor fireplace and danced happily into the night.
