the glasby family!

we had a crazy, fun time with the glasby family… grayson, heather and adorable myles!  heather and i actually “met” on instagram and became instant friends… bonding over the fact that we both prefer to never get out of our jammies, are attempting the live the country life in the city, are on the eternal search for the perfect quilt, both have handy, hunky hubbies that go along with our creative photographer madness and we also agreed that our babies someday must marry so that we get to hang out that much more.  i knew i had to come up with a theme that would fit their artistic lifestyle and incorporate the glasby’s love of color and fun!  soooo, we yarn wrapped our magnolia tree in the front yard, hung a pretty hammock (grayson told me that being on a hammock seemed like the perfect happy place) and they came over with an armload of confetti.  it was the perfect afternoon, really.  we loved each other even more in person, played until the sun went down and then we all had a little pizza picnic out in the dark by the tree, lit by lanterns until it got so late all the kids started to melt down.  what a blessing it is to meet new friends, i think you may just fall in love with them too… can’t you just see how much fun they are?   :)

I know it helps to have an attractive couple and child which Heather, Grayson, and Myles definitely fill the bill, but the way the photographer captures the essense of the 3 of them together whether it’s spontaneous or posed brings shear joy to the observer. Well done!
