these are my dear friends, the rothwells, who just moved up to northern california for a little less city and a lot more country. we had to do one last shoot before they left, of course, and marta (the mama) dreamed up this happy theme to use one of bruce’s other babies (in addition to his 5 girls), his newly restored vw van. i am really going to miss them but now i have a great excuse to travel up north to photograph them out in their backyard filled with wildflower fields (swoon)! i also hear bruce has added to his car collection an old fire engine that is being driven out from alabama… you know i have to get myself in front of that somehow with my camera, rothwells (hint, hint)! love, love, love this family. xoxo
