my goal for this workshop was… “for each parent that attends to leave feeling confident and excited about documenting the journey of their childrens’ lives in a richer and more artistic way”… and i think it was achieved!
it was a fantastic day of instruction, conversation, laughing, sharing, shooting, sunflares, questions, answers and good friendships made. i had a great time setting up a whole living room spread in my backyard full of antique furniture, vintage cola & yummy treats… we started the workshop there and then headed out to a local farm for the live portrait shoot. despite the windstorm, our little models put on their best “snap happy” faces and everyone got a good taste of crawling in the dirt and in trees (for the perfect shot)! i am so happy to have had the chance to get to know all the attendees… can’t wait until the next one!
UPCOMING PARENT WORKSHOPS: sunday, june 13th (austin, tx) & sunday, july 11th (thousand oaks, ca). please email me if you’d like to register as it is first come first serve and only a certain amount of spots are available. thank you!
* a big thanks to my 2nd shooters, sarah and jenny, for taking some great images of all the action of the day! you make my heart (snap) happy.
