i love that when i asked her to smile for my camera, instead she lifted her dress up over her head and started shaking her tushy. i love that when i gave her the jellybeans, she scattered them all over her piano and said she was “just giving the songs a prettier outfit”. i love that...

these little girls really are made of sugar and spice and everything nice. :) i met this cute clan bright and early as the sun was rising… it was super freezing as i got out of my car, but i swear it warmed up 20 degrees as soon as i saw these little faces....

levi, renny, landri & mccoy. they really dug down deep and found their inner models for me this year. :) this is, i believe, the sixth year i have photographed these kiddos! okay, i guess they aren’t exactly kiddos anymore… they are growing up.
they are, without a doubt, one of my favorite families EVER.

we played, we laughed a lot, we ran with their new puppy and we all hiked up our jeans and jumped into the creek at the end. (my feet were really cold but watching this happy family love on each other made my heart feel verrrrry warm.)
